|
| 6. How do I prevent discolouration? Is it possible to prevent staining? |
If you know that plasterboard has been fixed for quite some time, then you need to take the following steps to prevent the risk of staining:
After preparation and before applying your final coat; apply a sealer to the whole area. Apply texture and open windows to allow uniform drying.
Closed windows will aggravate the situation and will slow the drying process.
|
| Can I speed up the drying time? |
| In situations where it is unlikely that drying will be achieved in 5 days, heaters may be used. |
